Roach Dynamos JFC are holding trials for next seasons under 6 teams.

We have been established in this area since 1975 gaining the prestigious charter standard award from the F.A. At present the club have over 250 players signed on with 19 teams running from under 6 right through to open age.

The 2010 Roach Tournament has been confirmed as taking place on the weekend of the 7th and 8th August at Heywood Community School.

All friendlies due to take place at Heywood Community this weekend have been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions.

With the start of the season only a week away the potential damage to the pitches cannot be justified.

If you are due to play a County Cup game please check with your manager to confirm whether the game is still on.

The lucky winner of the “Guess the number of Goals” raffle at the Roach Dynamos Tournament has yet to claim their prize.

The total number of goals over the weekend was 366 and the lucky winner has a prize of £100 to collect.

The Roach Dynamos Annual Tournament is taking place on the 8th and 9th August 2009 at Heywood Community High School, Heywood.

Due to high demand there are no spaces available in the Under 12s and Under 13s categories.

Spaces are still available in the Under 8s, 9s and 10s age groups, which take place on Saturday the 8th August and are limited to 7 players a side.

The annual Roach Dynamos tournament is taking place on the weekend of the 8th & 9th August at Heywood Community School in Heywood and this years event promises to be the most fun and competitive tournament yet, already we have filled one of the age groups with little under a month to go!

On Saturday 8th August there will be the Under 8s, 9s and 10s 7 a-side tournament and also the Under 11s 11 a-side tournament. [...more]

On Saturday 4th July, the club staged the second of its annual memorial matches for Scott Howatson, the ex Roach Dynamos footballer who died last January in a road traffic accident.

The match was held at Heywood St James between a selection of Roach managers (combined age of the back four was nearly 170!) and next year’s under 16’s squad.
