Roach Dynamos Under 7 Blacks made the short trip to Woodbank in excellent form on Saturday. With no more than 2 minutes on the clock, Roach burst forward, Josh Brooks and Curtis Newsham finding Kieran McIlvenny who outpaced the defender to smash the ball past the Woodbank keeper to give Roach the lead. Roach made a typically sluggish start to the game but were lucky that Walshaw didn’t capitalise on some hesitant Roach defending. Roach finally woke up and started to play some good football, and from this point didn’t really look back.

With Curtis Newsham unavailable, Ciaran Sherry stepped into Midfield. Roach started the match and within minutes found themselves 2 goals down.
